I've been playing this song a lot for a couple of years now. I like everything about it but David's contribution is the icing on the cake for me. It's understated but just fits in so well and the song would not be the same without it. He looks so calm and peaceful too. Given that he was Carl's friend originally, I like the fact that he ended up working with what you might call "Team Brian."

It’s crazy that after the death of Melinda and Brian’s health issues now, that this indeed will sadly more than likely be The last new song he ever officially releases. But like the song says, don’t be sad. What a career and what a life! I only hope as a fan we get some cool releases down the line like the rumored box set someday of what has been dubbed,”the bedroom tapes”. There has to be tons of unreleased Brian demos out there after a career of so many years.

Brian has been writing amazing music, since I was about 5 or so. Yet, his two biggest "hits" are singing right along with Dad! THAT has to mean a lot to Brian! The Brian Wilson Band was here, last year. I am SO glad we went. There was some "midwest band" that was there, too. Kind of BeachAgo, but no "beach boys" were there. Just Brian, Alan and Matt Jardine. The "Ago" half, Chicago! Talk about a KILLER concert, this wasn't! Was TWO amazing concerts. Yes, Matt and Al showed up for "Wishing you were Here!" Wish Dennis Carl, and Carl Dean did. Also, no Terry Kath, either. All 3 were missed. steve

Brian's probably been suffering from dementia for years now, considering the nental issues he's been dealing with.

Brian Wilson is one of my very favorite artists. Loving him & his music since Pet Sounds. Been to many concerts, mainly smaller venues, time in the surf with him in Laguna Beach. Cute song since we live on an Island. Beautiful Day & The Last song are my favorites on No Pier Pressure. Blessings🙏
